Tom Kirkland has been a fixture in my life for many, many years. I actually have a picture of him as a toddler in his old shop. His eyewear is very exclusive, with all the big names from Cartier, Versace, Ray-Ban, and many more. He has the Malcolm X Shuron Ronsir frames that I purchased from him. His family works with him in his eyeglasses shop. Tom is a joy; when he is not busy, he always tells you amazing stories in his unique style that you can witness in an interview. Many times when you think he is busy, he will draw you into a captivating story. He is making all his customers feel valued.
He is a black belt in karate and played basketball with NBA Hall of Famer Moses Malone in Petersburg, Virginia. He has lived an incredible life. His store is located at 14 N 8th St, Richmond, VA 23219. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
